Morning Sun :: Operation Chahar

Hello there.

Restarted Morning Sun campaign (for lolz and whatnot), and ran into pretty funny problem in second scenario: apparently, planes nowadays are unable to fly over the Great Wall and have to use land unit passages to get through. Recons, Fighters, Tacs - you name it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that when Morning Sun was released and it does not make any sense in general. Plus it's just annoying

ps: as a bonus, AI air force is so very passive in second half of Marine Corps campaign - they just sit in their hangars waiting to be steamrolled by boots on the ground. But that's probably whole another topic;
pps: sorry if it was reported before - search on these forums still gives me tons of errors

Yes, that was noticed a while back and was included in a bug summary thread. Hopefully it will be fixed in a patch soon. What happened was, when the developer decided to change the format of the file that controls unit movement, he forgot to include a column for "wall" which would allow planes to fly over it (it should be "Wing" = 1 for "wall"). Instead, a wall now blocks all movement including in the air and you are right; this error occurred with the game update that came with Sandstorm.
