Weekly round-up

Lots of action in Division A this week where hidde (Hannibal in Africa) secured the championship with 2 more wins. Nosy_Rat (Pontics) is currently second but he can be overtaken by MikeC_81 (Romans) if he beats ruskicanuk (Achaemenid Persians) in his last match. At the bottom of the table a lot will depend on the outcome of the match between klayeckles (Saka) and rbodleyscott (Rhoxolani). klayeckles still also has to finish a match with ruskicanuk. In Division B the main focus now is also on the relegation battle where ggarynorman (Romans) picked up his first win this week to leave himself one point behind Ironclad (Seleucids) who has finished his matches. ggarynorman needs to win his last match against Aryaman (Lysimachids) to avoid relegation. There is nothing to report from the other 3 divisions as only Division C has a single match left to finish now.

It is still very slow in Division A but Dortmund (Romans) registered two defeats this week to leave him without a point after 5 matches and facing relegation. In Division B ggarynorman (Romans) is relegated after his eighth consecutive defeat. Division C has finished and only the minor places are still being contested in Division D.

Weekly round-up

Frenzied activity in all three divisions this week! In Division A rexhurley scored an important win to get himself off the bottom of the table but it is all still to play for down there with Cunningcairn and markwatson360 also still needing points for safety. Ludendorf has won Division B despite being beaten by nyczar in his penultimate match. At the bottom Ironclad is relegated after losing his last match to edb1815. In Division C the main interest now is what happens at the bottom of the table. Ulysisgrunt posted 2 wins to move into the safety zone but Brenmusik and melm need points in their last matches to overtake Morbio.

With 8 wins from his 9 matches Ludendorf has won Division B of Enemies of Rome finishing 8 points ahead of Nijis and devoncop in second and third places respectively. Well played Ludendorf!

In what was a very tight division IMC and his Galatian army edged ahead of his rivals Greyhunter3 and youngr by just one point. Well played IMC.

Weekly round-up

Just the relegation issues to sort out in both divisions now. It could not be closer in Division A where the very last match between Cunningcairn and markwatson360 will decide the issue. The loser of the game will be relegated, the winner will finish sixth! If it is a tie Snugglebunnies will be relegated, if it is a draw Cunningcairn will face the drop. An incredible situation really. In Division B Okie withdrew this week and all his matches were adjudicated. He did get one win against Herode_2 so Herode_2 needs to get something out of his last match against Brenmusik to avoid the bottom place. Brenmusik cannot come bottom now as he won an adjudicated match against Okie.

Shawkhan2's Macedonians had a drawn battle with markwatson360's Parthians.
A totally ridiculous battlefield, huge hills filled with rough terrain made it impossible to come to grips with the Parthians, who refused to engage.
