Will this game have new units and more DLCs in the future?

As title above,I really like this game, and I think is the best ancient PBEM tactical wargame for now.So I wanna know this If anybody can tells me.

Yes. The game is likely to continue to expand until it covers ancient - 1500CE. Pike and Shot: Campaigns picks it up from there.

Infact,I want offical release an ancient unit expand dlc,because I think origin game's units are incomplete,maybe developers of this game should learn something from totalwar series(means units).

Creative Assembly uses a lot more artistic licence with their armies and units than the FoG2 devs do. What units specifically do you think are missing from base game era?

late legionaries(3 century),late roman ballistarii,vandal's infantry,and more...?

Those are Legions triumphant era rather than base game but in any case, 3rd century legionaries and ballistarii were already discussed in that older thread.

So far it just uses the Cartheginian spearman or even Spartan hoplite for the veteran type.
