I punted this game when I went on tilt after a run of bad rolls. Bad luck turned what should have been a cakewalk matchup into a fight. My tilt turned the fight into a debacle. A SHAMEFUL DISPLAY

it was a great game. Went the full number of turns....phew.

The terrain, especially, was against both of us. Virtually the whole battlefield was steep hills and rough going. Perfect for a cavalry army and heavy foot army to operate....NOT!!!!

Nijis (Romans (285-378AD) ) defeats ZygfrydDeLowe (Germanic Horse Tribes 260-492AD). 30 to 57

Another tense one - the Roman infantry were pressing as hard as they could to break the warbands as the Gothic lancers started to overwhelm the Roman horse. Then a few Gothic lancers got distracted pursuing, and the German center gave out only just in time.

The Romans got hit fast and hard, their legionairs disappointed, as they stood ready to do their dirty work, when the signal to retreat sounded. Without their cavalry and skirmishers they left the field.
