When researching new tech I can see only 4 tech trees. Is there more to the right of the screen? If so how do I scroll to it?

If you're playing to Pandora (wrong forum), there is an option.
If not, you're right the bottom slider is tin and barely visible, it is boring. Devs have still to make it pleasant.

You have to use your mousewheel. (as if you would scroll vertically)
I made this mistake too sandlance.

Thanks guys. I found it. suggestion color the slider to make it easier to see.
