Bug: Heroes (SM Chaplain in Particular)

The main Bug: Space Marine Chaplain: Game Crashed upon attempting to use his AOE heal ability. He was level 9 or 10, however when I clicked the ability button the game crashed. I reloaded and worked fine then attempted to use the ability again and the game crashed. I reloaded and didn't use the ability and didn't have any issues for the rest of the game.

Additional Concerns:

Not sure if the Hero Units are working as intended, however:

1. If I build a Hero unit later in the game, (even if its my first hero) they come out of productions at like level 6-9
2. When my heroes level up even if they have reached 10 they continue leveling and I continue to have to choose where to place points even if its maxed at 3/3...

At work at the moment will get PC info and add as an edit later this afternoon.What I can Tell you:

Windows 10 PC
Nvidia GTX1050TI (I think)
12GB RAM

No worries new game it happens, I will see if I have the save file when I get home this evening, as for the duplicated post (sort of) I wasn't sure if the Hero leveling was an issue or working as intended...so I made a double post...
