Weekly round-up

Division A is still proceeding very slowly but the contest is looking to be between MikeC_81 (Romans) and hidde (Hannibal in Africa). NikiforosFokas (Thracians) is unbeaten in 5 matches, but three of those have ended in draws so he has some ground to make up to challenge for the top spot. DzonVejn (Rhoxolani) has finished as the unbeaten champion of Division B this week so attention will now switch to the relegation battle where Ironclad (Seleucids), markwatson360 (Parthians) and ggarynorman (Romans) all desperately need points. Ludendorf (Hannibal in Africa) finished his very successful campaign with 3 wins to complete a clean sweep in Division C. Nothing to report in Division D this week, but Zardoz02 (Romans), our third champion in Classical Antiquity so far, finished his matches in Division E with another victory.

Weekly round-up

MikeC_81 (Jewish Revolt) narrowly defeated ruskicanuk (Seleucids) this week in a match that could decide the outcome of Division A. TheGrayMouser (Palmyrans) is in second place now but is ten points behind MikeC_81 having played the same number of games as the leader. Nosy_Rat (Sassanids) has secured a very creditable second place in Division B while, at the bottom, ggarynorman (Romans) and batesmotel (Bosporans) will be hoping to pick up some points to overtake devoncop (Palmyrans), who has finished his matches with just 1 win and a draw. Morbio (Jewish Revolt) secured another win at the top of Division C and can now only be overtaken by dkalenda (Palmyrans), who needs to win his last four matches (including a match against Morbio) to claim the top spot. In Division D newcomer Scurry69 (Pontics) will finish in bottom place with just 1 win from his 9 matches after wins by nobbynobbs (Skythians) and Supervark (Ancient British).

Two more wins in Division A for pantherboy this week, making it look increasingly likely that he will eventually be the champion this season. rexhurley moved off the bottom of the table with his first win. Nothing much to report in Division B and in Division C harveylh finished with 2 wins to lead the table by 4 points from an unbeaten IMC who still has 3 matches to play. MikeMUC is third with 4 wins from 5 starts.
