Feeding more bases

A and B are BG of troops fighting on two ranks.
A has charged B during the impact phase.

If I correctly understand the rules, during the first manoeuvre phase B couldn't add more troops into melee as there's no existing overlap from A.
But during the next manoeuvre phase could B manoeuvre this way to get all 8 bases fighting ?

If I ask, it's that in fact I don't really know what mean :
- Bases cannot be lapped round the end of an enemy formation to get extra bases in front edge contact. (p.73)

Your final question refers to the DBM practice where the overlapping base would wheel on to the flank if there was space. I believe the authors were makig sure that those coming from a DBM background understood that this manoures was not a part of FoG.
