You have just missed one in Berlin from 10-11 January! Eleven players participated in a very well organised event. The unbeaten winner was Ferdi with his nasty Later Medieval Danish.
With a bit of luck, there will be a tournament in Rheindahlen (Mönchengladbach) http://www.rheindahlen-wargames.com/index.html from 1-3 May. Another maybe is Koblenz, check http://www.komicon.de for it, probably in September or so. Please note that the Koblenzers play 6th edition as well.
Wasn't Brussels part of the Holy Roman Empire in the middle ages? There is a tournament next month http://www.iwchallenge.be/.

The FoG scene here is mostly individuals playing a game once in a while. The local gaming store in Rotterdam is promoting 28mm FoG, but I normally play 15mm with friends. Delft is the epicenter of wargaming in general, not too far away from Amsterdam. Crazy enough, beyond Fantasy wargaming there is nothing going on in Amsterdam. I am willing to travel, so drop me an email when you are here.Katsu wrote:I will be vacationing in the area and may try to set up a game.
What is the Netherlands FoG scene like?
Do you have a local gaming group?
Do you know of one in Amsterdam?

Gaming in the Netherlands
JM,
Fantasy gaming is fairly popular here, let's hope historical wargaming will become just as popular.
I am not aware of any wargame conventions in Bergen op Zoom. Have you been there? Tin Soldiers of Antwerp ( www.tsoa.be) is just across the border, though. They host the biggest convention on the continent. There used to be a wargame convention nearby in Vlissingen (Flushing), but that was years ago.
Groet,
Eltjo

KoMiCon in Koblenz will be in August (no definite date yet but 15-16 or 21-22 August are the most likely dates).
There are plans for at least one more tournament in Autumn, probably around Frankfurt, but that is in the early planning stages.
