Problem getting AA to fire

I have problems with the SPAA when they want to shoot at range without moving
if there is a land unit on the same hex as the air target, I can engage at range without problem.
However, if there is no land unit in the target air unit's hex - I can't get my SPAA to fire.
It just wants to move there, when I want it to stay put and fire.

Does the machine use the PC version ? If yes, it is a pecularity of the interface. You need to use tab to switch between air and ground mode. In air mode, the AA will fire at the selected aerial target in range. In ground mode, it will move at the selected hex before firing.

Also if you're using the touchcreen and can't hit tab easily, there's a button on the right to toggle air/ground.
