Christmas Drink in Central London

Post by madaxeman »

The landlord at one of the two pubs Central London Club meet at has offered to get some sausages on sticks in for us to have a Club Christmas drink - and looking at the diary, next Wednesday December 10th looks the best bet for us all.

So, in the interests of international solidarity and global peace and love to all people, are there any gamers living or working in London who fancy coming over to sunny* Marylebone for a decent pint of IPA and/or London Pride (and lager and Guiness) and a pre-Christmas put-the-world-to-rights next Wednesday? If you and some mates want to use it as an excuse to meet up, no problem, there is no obligation even to be sociable (but it might be nice).

The pub is the Perseverance on Shroton Street, nearest Tube Marlyebone or Edgware Road. this map marks the spot - its visible at the end of Cosway Street when you look from the Marylebone Road. More details at www.clwc.org.uk

As I don't want to be eating dried up pineapple chunks and stale pickled onions throughout all of January, if anyone thinks they may well fancy coming along please "pm" me or email me at tim (at) madaxeman.com in the next few days to say you are going to turn up, then I can instruct the landlord to open the correct number of tins of corned beef for the sarnies. Or I can simply call him off anyway, and we just can nip next door to the chippie a bit later when we all get peckish.
