Has any one any suggestions. My preference is for the more "chunky" 15mm figs.. I use to have some early donningtons (royalists) which I remember of this type.
Unfortunately Xyston do not make Late Imperial Romans yet

Thanks

Donningtons do make Late Imperial Romans and their figures are generally chunkier than Magister Militum (former Chariot), but not as chunky as Xyston. I have a few MM Late Roman LF bowmen, which are nice figures, and a few Donnington on a command stand, most of which are chunky but one isn't. The main problem with MM figures (that I have for other armies) is the javelins are very thin, probably historically accurate scale but they are too flimsy. I've found their slingers a bit flimsy too. For anything else they are fine.hammy wrote:Magister Militum sell the old Chariot range, they are IMO very nice but not at all chunky.
