Bit of help!

Post by casang »

Hi i am asking for a bit of help. My husband has got all these books and is talking about starting to play again after a couple of years out, so what me and the kids were wondering if some one could suggest to me an army to buy for christmas for him. He usaly plays with knights so i was thinking of something a bit diferent but still with a few in and if you could also tell me some good figures for said army would be a great help. Oh and its 15mm if that makes any odds.

Thanks A

Does he currently have any armies? Getting an opponent of that army would be a great gift.

If he likes knights, it might be best to get him something in period. You don't want your great gift diminished by getting him something in an era/region that he doesn't like. (Although I'm sure he'd still appreciate what you've done.)

What a great wife!

where are you based?

In the states, I recommend using Old Glory at www.oldglory15s.com since they sell starter armies.

Between $80-100 US gets you a 600 point army.

I recommend perhaps a Medieval German army at $85 as a steal.
