Advice for Hammerkopf

Post by Lysimachos »

Hi mate,
something strange occured to our game.
When I try to play my turn a message pops up saying it cannot find custom scenario and that I need to download and install the free user content, though this is not a scenario game.
I'm wondering if you maybe downloaded some mods which are now interfering with the ongoing matches ...

I sent you a PM but it seems you haven't already seen it after some days so I choose this way to advice you.

Cheers

It doesn't have to be a scenario game, a custom battle set up using a user module will also generate this error. This is because both sides need to be playing with the same scripts, and any user-module may contain modded scripts.

Thank's for the advice Richard.
In fact the custom battle was launched using the TT mod.
But what's strange is that we have already played at least 3 or 4 turns without problems and suddenly the problem arose ...

That I cannot immediately explain. Did you both have the current version of TT Mod installed?

There is only one version of the TT mod currently available.
Field of Glory II Scenario Designer - Age of Belisarius, Rise of Persia, Wolves at the Gate and Swifter than Eagles.

Field of Glory II Medieval Scenario Designer.

FOGII TT Mod Creator

Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach Tournament Scenario Designer.

Well the only explanation I can think of is that both players had the TT Mod installed for the first few turns, and then tried playing on a different machine or after having deleted the mod.
