Forced labour -specialisation
This specialisation previously imo of little value might be a useful one in Sandstorm like Gabe pointed out. I was wondering if anyone has more detailed info i.e. how many RPs do you actually get if the requirements are fulfilled when damaging an enemy unit? I suppose its purchase value (which is affected by its experience) has an effect..?
Re: Forced labour -specialisation
I personally don't like this specialisation as it really depends on the scenarios available. Use in Sandstorm is also questionable as specialisations are split between German and Italian army (German specialisations do not apply to Italian units). Most of my ground units where Italians so I wouldn't get the benefit of this specialisation. I would appreciate if this specialisation would be replaced by much smaller benefit but much more consistent. For example fixed sum of RPs whenever enemy unit is destroyed or retreats. It could be as small as 1 RP really. I would also add a cap per scenario (or per turn) so it couldn't be over abused.CoolDTA wrote:This specialisation previously imo of little value might be a useful one in Sandstorm like Gabe pointed out. Re: Forced labour -specialisation
I get between 2-7RP's depending on how much damage they take, I even get RP's when they attack me and take losses.

It's really not that much RPs you're getting, in comparison, but it can sum up. Like in the "Dunkerque" scen of the Blitzkrieg DLC, when you're able to encircle whole armies.
The downside of this spec is that you'll have to wait until the enemy unit's down to 0% efficiency, which can take some turns... and I'm quite the unpatient kind of guy. Also, they have to be killed by land units and only those of the nation which has the spec - thankfully it works with aux units, too.
Never actually made any notes on how huch RPs you're getting per enemy unit. But it's definitely more for more "expensive" units. Halvralf was about right in my experience. Sometimes it's even more, when dealing a ton of damage to an arty unit, for example.
I'm usually always taking this spec, because I find the rest mostly useless in the long run. Like the infantry/tank/air school specs, radar, scrambling and such. I don't use engineers, subs and AA that much, so any spec addressing those seems unnecessary for my playstyle, too. So what else can I get beside the very useful Waffen-SS and all specs that gives you extra CP (War Economy and such)?
