Ruskicanuk army choices have to be three separate nations, can't have two Romans.

It's OK to change my army preferences still? That's handy to know. What's the latest date they need to be finalized?

Today is the last day to change your armies. Please edit your original post if you wish to do this.

Reserve list is now closed

Post by stockwellpete »

I would like us to have 6 reserves for each section. So far we have . . .

Classical Antiquity
pantherboy (A), melm (D/E), nobbynobs (D/E), cromlechi (C/D), vacancy, vacancy.

Late Antiquity
melm (C/D), cromlechi (B/C), Gorrick (A), Snugglebunnies (A), Breogan (A), vacancy.

Enemies of Rome
nobbynobs (C), cromlechi (B/C), GDod (B/C), vacancy, vacancy, vacancy.

From Zhou to Chen
batesmotel (B), devoncop (B), melm (B), cromlechi (B), GDod (B), vacancy.

if you are interested in being a reserve, please put your name down in this thread with the section(s) you are interested in. In Season 1 a number of reserves did eventually get to play in the tournament.

Wow looks like Division A has gone fairly heavily down the "Wall of Crap" route.

Hi Pete,

Great to see that you are still invested in the game and keeping the new iteration of the league alive. My wife gave me the okay for a new computer and now I've got one that can handle the specs for this game smoothly. A pity to miss the kick-off so please put me down as a reserve for all sections. Just played the first tutorial and love it. Looking forward to playing with all the old crew.

Cheers,

Steve

Yes, I will set up "arrange your matches here" threads on the evening of 31st May so that those players in the southern hemisphere can start promptly on June 1st.

Wow! A legend returns! :D

Steve, I have put you down as a reserve in the four league sections. The Themed Event has about six reserves already as I had to halt recruitment a bit prematurely because we had no chance of reaching 32 players this time. My expectation is that you will get in somewhere as four or five reserves eventually played in Season 1. It is great to hear from you again. Some people may not know but Steve was the tournament organiser of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (LOEG), which was the forerunner of the FOG Digital League. Many of the features of LOEG have been retained in the FOG2DL such as the army selection procedures and match reporting set-ups.

Uh oh. Mrs Pantherboy doesn't know the terror she has unleashed upon us once more.  Welcome back Steve!

If it's ok with you and Pete you may have my slot in Zhou to Chen. That way I can concentrate all my attention of Macedonian dominance of the Classical division!

Yes, that is OK with me, Ian. Steve, that place is yours now if you want it. You will need to download jomni's Silk Road mod from the in-game community downloads area. I think the latest version is 1.2.

No chance for the top spot in that division then...I'll take my revenge on Ian for spoiling my(and all others) chance for a win when I meet him in the Classical division :D

Thanks Ian. Very kind of you to give up your spot. I'll try and do you justice. I've got a bit of work ahead of me to try and get up to speed with this version of the game. Hidde I think this will be your chance to be the teacher and I the student
