Is there is a combat results table for battles in Order of Battle ?
I've tried looking on google and I can't fine one. I know Panzer Corps let you hit 'L' and see your results. Is there anything like that, even fan made, for this series?
The manual is completely useless.

Re: Order of Battle Odds
The combat results depend of several factors.
Some could be used in a table, like strength and terrain.
But efficiency is harder to add as you would probably need a 3D table to allow for all possible results.
Personally, I prefer to just look at the simple odds and base my decision on that (in addition to all tactical and strategic issues).
I think this is more close to how a commander would approach a situation.
Playing a game like a spread-sheet is not my kind of fun...

Re: Order of Battle Odds
It's not that I want to play by spreadsheet. It's more that I like to understand how the mechanics work. I do pretty much, after a lot of study, understand how Panzer Corp and Unity of Command work under the hood. Order of Battle though remains somewhat complex. I'd really like to understand how efficiency and concentric attacks actually work. I'm just going to assume that someone who plays a more more than me has made a pretty good stab at this, such that I don't have to try and reinvent the wheel.
Re: Order of Battle Odds
What fog1234 would like to have in OoB is the Combat Details screen for those interested to see "under the hood". I wouldn't mind having it, too. It was quite useful in PzC.

Re: Order of Battle Odds
Yes. That would be accurate. I can use test games and such to make some determinations about how the mechanics work, but overall OoB is a bit of a black box and what I'd like is to see if someone has done the legwork for me.
