Notice how noone says they played on easiest difficulty and failed...

+1 for job well done on balancing. But also +1 on renaming difficulties if current trend continues.

I´ve played all original content and DLC´s on the hardest difficulty and I am currently on mission 5 in Sandstorm.

So far I find it well balanced and not the toughest DLC so far, which IMO was probably Winterwar.

I do experience a lack of german prestige going in to mission 5 and my german army composition is nowhere near as versatile as it was in Blitzkrieg.

As someone who prefers to "enjoy" games rather than torture themselves, I'm a committed and experienced level 3 player and find Sandstorm to be fairly average difficulty but with the rare treat of having secondary objectives that are a bit of a challenge should I wish to attempt them.

I can imagine that Winter War on level 5 (with all that plus strength Russian arty) being a 'mare!

I have zero tolerance for bad designs. So the point is moot, I deleted the DLC. I have plenty of good games to play without subjecting myself to bad ones.

We all have different preferences. I really like this game, especially the campaigns. Normally I am forced to restart scenarios but that is the challenge IMO. I also love to test different tactics in a scenario and do something unexpected. Sometimes it's Bingo and to many times a disaster ;-).

You used bad wording - not "bad design" but "too difficult game for me".
If you write "bad design" then you write untruth and mislead other potential players.
I think You should be precise if you criticize something.

I also admit to doing a restart or two on every mission. The game is hard and indeed because it is turn-based, there are no backsies. Chess is same, no? Once you lose a few pieces, you cannot "undo" what happened like you can in other games.

Clearly, Yolo911 doesn't like this aspect of the game and the only solution to that is to play on a lower difficulty or save every turn, which I am guessing is a no-no territory like for most of us.
