Break and Win Challenge map.
It has long been thought to do something like this
I do not know how difficult it turned out, I did it for myself and it's hard to estimate knowing all the nuances of the script.
So try your hand!
Note: Only play chess and AI 2
Challenge 1 (easy)
Capture all the key objects.
Challenge 2 (hard) for real masters of the game!
Capture all the key objects in 7 moves!
You can try faster, but I'm not sure if it's possible.

Re: Break and Win Challenge map.
Hello Keen, and thanks for your map. As you are impatient for someone to try your map
I gave it a go. I've played 16 turns so far, and here are my observations:
1. Several times when I click to move a unit Panzer Corps returns to the main menu. This has never happened to me before. I click Load Game (and nothing else) and your map appears again... I click cancel and I can continue from where I left off.
2. Your map has a good layout so far and looks okay.
3. The selection of starting units and lack of prestige make it challenging to start with as I knew I needed to save prestige for repairs even though core slots are available.
4. The AI keeps spawning (buying) AT and artillery every turn around the objectives. Chipping away to remove these to take an objective can get tedious, although this can happen in Panzer Corps anyway so probably has nothing to do with your map.
5. The single AI fighter is a good inclusion as it keeps bothering my ground units and my fighter can only hit it for 3 or 4 then it returns to get repaired. It comes back to bother my ground units again while my fighter is refuelling. I haven't the prestige for another fighter to finish it off so I bought a mobile AA to discourage it and chase it round.
I'll continue when I get time and report back.

Re: Break and Win Challenge map.
Hello rubyjuno, thanks for reply!
1. The same topic I opened on the Russian forum and no one complained about a similar problem.
3. If you want to win in seven turns, try thinking outside the box. This map is like conundrum.
4. The slower you attack, the less chance of victory, because AI prestige grows.
At the beginning it is 100 per turn, and it is 400 per turn after 10 turns.

1. It's not a big problem, I've just never seen it before (and I've tried a lot of mods).Keen wrote:Hello rubyjuno, thanks for reply!

3. I guessed pretty quickly that winning in seven turns required some clever thinking!
4. Good idea, I'm quite a cautious player on new maps, I guess I need to change tactics on this map.
Cheers.
Re: Break and Win Challenge map.
Wolfram1951 did it in 12 turns. The first success! congratulations!
But he forgot about the trains that can help make it faster.

I always play with fog of war on - do you mean fog of war needs turning off, or is this a riddle?Keen wrote:Advice №1

Re: Break and Win Challenge map.
Impressive Keen, I guess you had the advantage of knowing the map. I think it would take me many attempts to get anywhere near your result. It's good to see someone trying something different. Good effort.

I created this map, so it's wasn't difficult for me.
I'm just showing you a possible solution.
I have one more map like this.

Note: Play Chess, AI=2, Fieldmarshal
Control all the key objects in 9 turns!
