Mac/ wine/crossover

Post by coachi »

I have the game on an older laptop. I am a Big Mac man. Can the game be played on Mac using wine / wineskin or others.

Thanks

See

Summary: Looks like Parallels might be the best bet, or possibly Wine, but not VMWare Fusion, which causes unacceptable graphic artifacts (hill slopes look like water).

I can confirm wineskin works using the non-steam installer. Depending on the hardware (AKA if a mac laptop with integrated gfx) it may run a bit slow. MP turns seem to work too but YMMV (never could get them to work in Pike and Shot or Sengoku within winskin).

See this thread for a basic overview of how to experiment with using wineskin for this: http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 85#p505347 Other virtualization software may work too.
