We haven't used it till now and Erik didn't issue instructions that we should change anything from the default start...

I'm simply saying we weren't told to turn on a setup function (or any of the other functions like Combat Randomising or Quick Experience for that matter) and haven't had to in the past, so there's no reason to think that we should now. I am quite relaxed.

Issue with map: German carrier provides only 7 air supply while player starts with 3 planes (3 x 3 supply = 9), so they drop to 7 efficiency right off the bat...

However, I'm fine with proceeding like that since we are playing mirrored games. Dolphin and I are already playing simultaneously alternating turns so may even finish tonight.

I'll be waiting till I hear official word on the settings and the bug fix if one will be for the German air.

I think actually Erik can't do anything about the supply of the german carrier as that would require changing the units.csv file? How about instead to remove a plane from each side so that they both got a fighter and a bomber?

That would be the only way to fix the German carrier supply.
But fixing this means restarting the games. Are all players in favour of that?
If not, carry on as there are mirrored games played anyway.

I get mixed signals about restarts. It needs to be all or nothing, so it looks like you need to continue playing with the current version.

dolphin0810 has resigned from one of the games, which according to rules set out means full resignation from tournament. Thank you for the games, dolphin0810, I thought the game wasn't decided but I'm glad you thought otherwise!

I have reviewed the replay.

Does dolphin have a chance at winning in his German side vs you?
If so, it doesn't make sense to surrender this game.

Although I would conclude that British defeat is inevitable here. They only have 3 sea units that are combat effective (DD,BB,BC) vs your 5 (DD, 2CA, 2BB). In addition you control 2 of 3 money making objectives.They could fight a delaying action buying them another 5-8 turns until defeat. Maybe even stalemate if their future Air action is profitable.

The other game felt more decided in my favour, but he continued playing a turn that I have not reviewed yet as according to the rules, round's over.
