Deployment Area

Hi

I'm currently playing a very large, very wide battle with Romans against Scots-Irish. The attached screen shot is taken after one move by each player. Note that the deployment area for the Scots-Irish is twice as wide as the Romans who are deployed across the entire allowable width of their deployment area. This is surely not correct as I can't see why one army should have a wider deployment area than the other.

It is due to the deployment areas being based on the initial deployment of the armies. In your extreme case, the enemy army is both larger and using a less deep deployment than the Romans, hence its deployment is much wider.

This issue has been addressed for the free patch that will be released at the same time as the next DLC. In the new version the deployment areas will not depend on initial deployment.
