OOB, Pacific Campaigns problem

I have had a problem the last couple of weeks with Pacific Campaigns. The game overheats my Inspiron and it shuts off! This is a problem, as I like the game. Since we had a download recently, has anyone else reported an overheating problem? I use Windows 7. I have had four shutdowns so far.

I am just doing the Boot Camp style campaigns and am having fun but am a bit worried about progressing ...


I've seen some other posts on this item but can't remember where.


Is it resolved?

Is there some way to tune so it is not an issue?

I've not had overheating issues but for some reason later in games when I select fighter units the game seem to lock up! It's weird too that it does not seem to happen on any other planes but fighters!
