Questions For Those Who Have The Game

Post by canuckgamer »

After watching some game review videos on You Tube I am still sitting on the fence about this game. The videos were all single player and it is multiplayer that I am interested in. In addition I couldn't hear much in the way of sound effects but I assume they are in the game.
For those who have tried multiplayer, some questions. Since it is online play, is it a WEGO system where both players enter their "orders" after which that time segment is resolved? Or is it turn based? If it is WEGO I assume your opponent does not see your orders.

In multiplayer can you save missions that you have not completed?

Thank you.

WEGO play: you enter your orders and click ready, your enemy does the same. When both have clicked ready the game plays out the moves. Then you both get to set targets in the same WEGO fashion and then the game plays out all shots.
Works really well. Turns fly by and even with learning the game we finished an engagement, after about 10 or 11 turns, in about 40 minutes. Time will depend on how much thinking you do and number of planes you control.

Multiplayer will support up to 4 players per side! Need to get an 8 player furball setup!!

Didn't try saving so I can't answer that.
