Units upgrading with experience lose their name

I have been upgrading (automatically) my Egyptian local pikemen (who start out as Raw) but when they become Regular Pikemen they forget their name.

Edit: Sometimes! A couple of units have upgraded and lost their name, while 1 has upgraded and KEPT the name. I will have to investigate further to see what the pattern is.
