Panzer Strategy while Waiting for Next DLC
Has anyone tried this Panzer Strategy? It came out on Early Access in Steam today: http://store.steampowered.com/app/76995 ... _Strategy/
The graphics are ... off. The looks of the game and style of writing also reminds me more of a game targeted for sales en masse, rather than one that aims for historical accuracy and atmosphere. I'm having trouble getting used to realistic 3D representing groups of units, but hey, maybe I'm just getting old. So anyway, if the game is good, I'd be willing to try getting used to the looks.
Any feedback regarding the game?

For now its hugly... Bush and animations dont work. Infantry gas no animation, difficult read battle result... hope they improve next months, at the moment I waste my 19,90 euro
Re: Panzer Strategy while Waiting for Next DLC
Yes, it seems like they have the graphics in, but the "fluff" such as interface, animations, game mechanics, still need a lot of working on. The developers seem responsive on the steam forums though, so hopefully game will get polished with feedback.

I think Slitherine isnt too happy if you use their forums to discuss competitor's games. Take a hint, guys. Those people did not.

From other topic zakblood linked:
PS PS: Actually, just to clarify, I wanted to get some feedback if anyone had tried it, because the game only had few steam reviews, and I am desperately bored while waiting for next OOB DLC / PzC 2. The game looks sub-par anyway, so nothing more to discuss!

Okay, true. (But it is also about the promotion aspect...) And the next beta is always around the corner. Have you tried Erik's custom campaigns yet? He reproduced the whole PzC German Grand Campaign in OoB. That should stop any boredom.13obo wrote:From other topic zakblood linked:

Re: Panzer Strategy while Waiting for Next DLC
I have not yet. I'm sure Erik's maps are brilliantly designed, but I'm not a huge fan of playing user-created content in general due to compatibility/balancing issues that this creates due to lack of testing/support. I'm probably missing out, but I'd rather just wait for official content and play something else on the side.
Re: Panzer Strategy while Waiting for Next DLC
i linked this thread so not to open multiple ones on the same subjects and getting the same comments, if it's decided as a dupe, one could be closed tbh as both aren't needed

If everybody would argue as you, nobody would test the user-created scenarios and nobody anymore would make user-created scenarios13obo wrote:I have not yet. I am not arguing.. Just gave reason not to play them when asked.
EDIT: Please feel free to lock the thread as we don't seem to be getting anywhere!

As always, do as you wish, but IMO there's definitely no lack of testing and support with Erik's GermanyGrand!13obo wrote:I have not yet.
