Is it possible to have more than just Decisive Victory/Marginal Victory/Loss paths in a campaign? I want to create a Brilliant Victory/Victory/Marginal Victory/Loss campaign tree style.
How do I format the pzdat file to do this? Right now I have this and it isn't working:
# This file contains Panzer Corps campaign structure
FormatVersion 1
# Entry points
# Name Label in campaign path Description Side Nation Starting prestige Display name
Madrid 1 "Panzer General 2 Grand Campaign" 0 0 500 Blitzkrieg
# Campaign path

I didn't change the "#" sections, but I'm assuming those are just comments?
How to do extra campaign paths?

Re: How to do extra campaign paths?
It seems that it's not possible even though there are a lot of options in the "campaign path" section of the scenario editor. Too bad. I'll have to make compromises between the various victories to make it adhere to the Panzer Corps style.
Re: How to do extra campaign paths?
Sorry that no one has responded to your question but there are comparatively few people that mod campaigns; most do equipment files, etc. I have not done much either but I will try to help the best I can.Kiane wrote:It seems that it's not possible even though there are a lot of options in the "campaign path" section of the scenario editor. You said that your campaign example didn't work but you didn't elaborate. Did the campaign progress in some outcomes but not all? Or did the campaign not progress at all?
I took a look at your campaign structure in a spreadsheet and could not see anything amiss but I don't have another campaign with more than 3 outcomes to compare. And it would take quite a bit of effort to put together a campaign for testing, especially as there is no cheat for a 4th scenario ending (only endscn 0, 1 and 2). So I will throw out a few ideas to consider:
1. Have you filled in at least 4 of the 5 outcome boxes in the campaign conditions section under the Victory conditions tab (I'm assuming you have
2. Does the order in the editor match the order in your campaign data file? Ex: BV is first, V is second, MV ..... etc.
3. Have you tried this? BV in the 1st box and 1st in your file; MV in the 2nd box and 2nd in your file; L in the 3rd box and 3rd in your file; V in the 4th box and 4th in your file.
I suggest #3 only because of the number of cheat codes and the fact that anything new added to files usually needs to be added at the end of the file. I have no idea if it will work and I have no other ideas right now. Nikivdd is the premier campaign designer here (although there are others) but he does stay pretty busy.
Good luck!

Glad to hear it! And I didn't know that a 4th (or 5th!) cheat would work. Thanks for the infoKiane wrote:Now it works! By the way, you can actually do endscn 3 if there's a fourth path, it works.
