Gates of Troy how to make bigger armies

Hello

Can I increase the troops size like in Legion Gold?
If yes, how? What research do I need to make, what building to build?

How to I improve the troops skill other than fighting battles?

You research silver which allows you to build depots and a depot in the city means all units built will be larger as will the garrison be.

If I recall correctly to build training centers you need iron research. This improves the skill of new units built in the city.
