Problem installing Panzerkrieg

I downloaded and unzipped panzerkrieg but after I enter my serial number the bars only flash for a second and it says it is done installing.

When I open the game it is not there.

I had Norton tech support turn off my av software but still had the same result.

The only issue I can think of is that I installed the new patch before I bought panzerkrieg.

Any advice?

you could always try in safe mode if you think it's the AV program which is causing the issue, easy way to check is look at the logs file of the program, as even when off it can interfere or log actions, but if it's clean and no errors etc, then you would need to post more information etc

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

That's how it should be. Basically only installs a small file and change the registry values.

When I open the game it is not there.

Could you please clarify this? Does this means that you can only play the first scenario and then asks to purchase it again?

It does not even show as being loaded. See attached screen shot. It also shows as ver 4.1.7 even though I installed the new patch

Do the following:

1. Please go to the Documents folder for the game (Default: Documents\My Games) and renamed "Order of Battle – WW2" folder as "_Order of Battle – WW2"

2. Uninstall all Order of Battle version, Steam and the stand alone.

3. Download the file attached in this message "OoB_ClRegx64.zip".

4. Unzip the downloaded file and run the extracted file "OoB_ClRegx64.reg".

5. Allow the "program" to delete the Windows registry keys regarding the game.

6. Install 5.2.1 of the game from the link below and reinstall the game:

7. When installing 5.2.1, make sure that you click in "Pacific Serial" button and insert your Pacific serial in case you have purchased Order of Battle: Pacifc

8. Reinstall all DLCs. (Note that you don't have to install Rising Sun and US Pacific if you have inserted the older Order of Battle: Pacific serial number)

Hi,

Did you export your core before updating to the latest version? If so, you'll need to go back to a save game and re-export them. There was no functionality to export specializations nor the Waffen SS units before the latest patch

I exported the core and my non-SS units transferred as did all of my specializations (including one that I did not have).

Only the SS units are missing

Followed your instructions and I now have the basic game V5.2.1 but was not offered the Pacific serial option even though I have Pacific and Marine registered. In the members section only core Pacific 2.4.8 and Marine 2.3.8 is available, no updates. Also the Members Screen has a different layout from the example screen you have shown. Please advise.
