New 64bit OoB's version vs. old hardware

Post by kondi754 »

I want to thank Artistocrats and Slitherine for a new 64 bit version of the game. The game runs smoothly even on my old laptop and now I can play it when I'm away from home.

Thank you very much once again. 8)

What does it mean? :)

To clarify: the previous version of the game worked terribly on slower computers, even at the lowest settings.
Today I installed a new version of the game on my laptop and I am delighted with the game's performance on medium settings.

The thing to do nowadays and I have done it is when you go to a doctors office and you have to wait 1.5 hours before they see you (dude I go to a clinic sometimes when sic and that is how it works) so because they abuse me in this way I just sit there with my laptop - plugged into the way and ear phones on and play Order of Battle before you know it they are interrupting me (after 1.5 hours ) and telling me they can see me now - I look forward to getting sic now ???

Wonder if it is possible to play while you're in the dentist chair?

I had problems with the 32 bit version freezing up during scenario start up. The game would work fine for a while then lock up on the load screen. The 64 bit version seems to have fixed it. I run a 64 bit high end system so maybe there was a compatibility problem. Anyways thanks for the awesome 64 bit version I love it!
