Campaign Editor Specialization Issue

Hello All,

I have an issue creating a campaign using the editor, more specifically editing the number of points of specialization from the start:
When i try to add points of specialization to the core team on the specialization settings page the interface don't work and i can't save the change and then the campaign run without specialization points at all.
So my question is there another way to add specialization and spe points like editing directly the text_english .txt in the campaign folder?

This is a bug I reported earlier.
You can’ add spec points in the txt file.
In the days before the campaign editor you added this stuff in the data txt file, but this is no longer used.
So we need to wait until this issue and several others are fixed in the campaign editor.

Stay tuned. We are looking for great things for the campaign editor in the future. What we are presently looking at is very preliminary, I believe.

However, you can still edit the (or compose a new) "data.cmp" file as you wish and let it *then* convert using the campaign editor. It's quite some typing, but works for me. (Thanks, Horst)

I'm definitely NOT gonna miss out on the last GGC missions because of some campaign editors' queue limits...

I took a look at the data.cmp file but i've no clue how to use it, do we have some kind of tutorial about its use?
Bru, do we have a deadline (just a rough idea) for the campaign editor enhancement?

I'm not sure, if creating a complete new campaign out of the editor also creates a "data.cmp" file next to the "campaign.cmz". But if you already have one, open it with a text editor and look for an entry like that:

[Pearl Harbor]
location = 4.611, -0.506
scenario = 1Pearl
specs = usa, 7
result = 1,1,1,1,1

I only have the campaign.cmz and the text_english files in the campaign folder, i guess i'll have to wait a new version.

After testing my campaign i saw that we get the spec points after scenario 1 and we can use them (i used a lot the secondary objectives to get spec points) so i added 10 points in scen 1 to get the base points for scen 2, not perfect but usable.
