Hi
Is it just me or is the Tiger pretty unrealistic - it moves and its efficiency goes down
I'm in the position of not moving my tiger unit as otherwise very quickly gets destroyed or crippled by infantry
I can't afford to replace casualties so it is pretty useless long-term (for me anyway)
With the retreat from Khakiv I only get 10 turns to shoot down the planes and destroy the tanks before the scenario ends?
I completed the Stalingrad scenario - do we not get any bonus unit for fully completing this?
Cheers
Paul

Hi,
the early Tiger has the "unreliable" trait, which causes it to lose efficiency faster than normal. From Kursk a later version without this trait is available.
Kharkov - this seems to refer to the Op. Star defensive scn and should be fine when the last patch moves from beta to official.

Any ETA on the patch?
Surprised you are including the reliability issue as I don't think that really improved till 44 and at that point in the war was actually better than the Panther
Cheers

I agree the first Kharhov is 24 turns long but ends on turn 24 .aaaaaaaaaaaaaalso i think the Tigers are not good at all.
Re: Couple of things Khakov wise
The second tiger version is actually a really good tank, though a bit slow.
the Panthers also started out with mechanical difficulties (Panther D) that got smoothed out in the second version (Panther A).
The thing this game gets wrong though, is that the Panther-A was actually quite a speedy tank, even though it was classified as a "heavy" tank, and also cost half as much to make. While the armor was not as good as the Tiger's from the sides, it was at least as good, if not better (slope) from the front. What's more, they worked on the treads and suspension system to make them more compatible with the rougher terrains they were running into in Russia, so it was a much better "off-road" tank than the Tiger.
I ended up reflecting that more accurately by modding the values for the tanks.
Panther A is now:
-weak flanks
-heavy treaded (it was still too big to fit over some bridges for example)
-Guerrilla (yeah, that sounds funny, but it's actually pretty accurate)
overall speed is one faster than Tiger, and cost is exactly half.
