The two players who have not yet opened their "Welcome" PM are . . .
Klynner (Classical Antiquity)
Nixoncc (Classical Antiquity)
You may find that there is a delay in starting matches with these players.

It seems that my Romans 199-106 BC can't play against Barrold713 - Greeks 460-281BC, only 227-146 BC

You will find they can but you need to adjust the filters (date/a-z/geographic) to do so.dkalenda wrote:It seems that my Romans 199-106 BC can't play against Barrold713 - Greeks 460-281BC, only 227-146 BC

Re: Tournament news and updates
Some players are reporting that they cannot set up challenges when the two armies are from different time periods. You have to adjust the Date filter and then you will be able to do it. All the match-ups are possible in the FOG2DL.
Re: How to challenge an opponent in the FOG2DL
were is the player list? This is sure confusing. Si I just send the player a email that I have set up a game and give him my pw??

Re: How to challenge an opponent in the FOG2DL
You need the Late Antiquity "arrange your matches here" thread. I sent you the link by PM yesterday. Here it is again . . .http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 01&t=81692Scotty123 wrote:were is the player list? This is sure confusing. You are in Division D. Pick an opponent. Set up the challenge in the multi-player system (your army versus your opponent's chosen army) and give it a password. Then write the details of your challenge in the Late Antiquity thread above. Your opponent should then start the game fairly quickly (provided they are not playing too many other games at the moment).

Why do I think I am going to get the worst from this match-up?devoncop wrote:You will find they can but you need to adjust the filters (date/a-z/geographic) to do so.dkalenda wrote:It seems that my Romans 199-106 BC can't play against Barrold713 - Greeks 460-281BC, only 227-146 BC

Geographical filter I get but shouldn't there be dates that match up. My troops get perforated en masse as it is without the Romans having laser guided pointy sticks and stuff.

Check the filters under the army lists on the right (most likely the date one needs to be turned off)

Re: From Cyrus to Tigranes: arrange your matches here
I turned off all the filters. Is it called exactly Tigranes Armenians? It's not there. I don't have the expansion yet, though. Hopefully it's not in there.
