Newbie question: Late Romans (West)

Post by uranor »

Hello,
I am new to FOG and was wondering which book would be the best to buy for Western Late Romans (i.e. ~250 AD and later). For the Eastern empire I'd assume that Decline and Fall would include them, but could not find a positive identification of the books containing their western counterpart. Is it Legion Triumphant?

Advice please,

Thanks
Chris

Legions Triumphant does indeed include the Later Imperial Romans, called Dominate. Both West and East, from 285 AD to 425. The Foederate Roman list then follows for both Western and Eastern halves of the Empire, until 493 when the Ostrogoths invade Italy. The Early Byzantine list then picks up at that point, and is featured in the Decline and Fall book.

Cheers,

Dale
