Map editor instructions

Post by RonaldCz »

I am working with the lastest update for Order of battle world war two and when using the editor I don't see units to place in the scenario or income to buy things. Are their any instructions on how to work in the editor? Am I missing a download that would give me more resources to apply?

If you click on the Plus in the bottom left of that screen, then you can select Nations and assign them to the teams.

You'll them be able to add units from those nations

Ta!

So far things going good. When I put the scenario into the program files it does load but I can not get the AI to play. resources are not showing up.

Ok in order for units to show up First one must click on the SCENARIO SETTINGS button then you will see a similar screen as shown above in the previous posts - The Scenarios Settings button is the button to the RIGHT of the Save Button - if you hover your mouse over it - it will read Scenario Settings ok great click on that and they you will see a screen similar to the one above

Now as mentioned above click on the "Plus in the bottom left of that screen" this means click on the WHITE PLUS sign on the bottom left of this screen. There are TWO of these buttons on this screen click on the one just above the CLOSE button - hovering your mouse over any of these buttons it will read "ADD"

When you click on this button it shows a list of all of the nations click on a nation - matter of fact you must click on a nation for its units to show up.

When you click on a Nation it now lists it on this screen just like it shows this in the above post showing United States listed and then Germany

Ok great the Significant major other step you must do in order to be able to see units is to click in the tiny white area this is located next to and left of the "Filter by category Button" This thing to click on is the tiny white square next to the big White Helmet on the main screen when you create a scenario. Hovering over this it reads "No Man's Land"

IF you click on this area PRIOR TO - in other words BEFORE you add nations to that other screen NOTHING HAPPENS - You Will Still Not See Available Units

So ADD NATIONS to your Scenario, THEN click on this area AND THEN click on the nation that you want the units to show. For example if you have ADDED Germany and Poland as explained above to where they are listed THEN when you click on this WHITE No Man's Land thing - THEN you will see Germany and Poland then click on Poland for example which will enable you to place Polish Units

Keep in mind it will show red x's with the units that are out of the time line for the time line you have set up read more in the manual about this - It does correctly explain that.
