Setting up a Multiplayer Game

Post by goose_2 »

Ok I am getting questions a lot on how to set up a multiplayer game so I am posting here and on the home page of the forum.

So you Open Panzer Corps.

Click on multiplayer:
Type in your user name and password, and I pressed remember password so I never have to do it again. ;)
press log in

This will take you to a page where it displays Multiplayer and right below it 3 tabs

The 1st Tab is Current Games, since this is your first time you will not have any current, but hopefully this will fill up quickly;)
It is the 2nd and 3rd tab that you will be playing around with.
The 2nd Tab is Issue a challenge:
click on that and than go down and press the Issue a challenge button.
A screen will come up, mine is on the regular Panzer Corps Screen so it has those maps up and the first one displayed are the Balanced Maps: Spoils of War
You should scroll down and find the Historical (unbalanced) Maps:
Click on Poland
Press the Play Button
This brings up the Game Options Screen

Here you Pick Paired Game, I play by deselecting undo off,
It has spaces for you to fill in a password, leave it blank
It has space to type a description:

I would type newbie and undo off.

This will start giving you practice for the Tournament.

Blessings on your endeavors.

Well I issued a challenge but nothing happened so after 5 minutes I quit to go watch 'Destroyed in Seconds' on TV.
How long are we supposed to wait for somebody to accept a challenge?

Well, it could take an hour or 2 as someone will have to log on and go to accept a challenge.
Or you can do that.
And any open games, (they will not have a lock on them) You can accept and start playing, as you go to the tab that says Current Games and start playing ;)
