Rising Sun and US Pacific Download issues
I have Order of Battle WW II installed and playable. It shows all of the campaign scenarios working except Rising Sun and US Pacific. I was sent download keys and it states that downloads have been successful. When I do a search on my system, none of these files are present.

Thanks for the reply. On your message/link you say there is an attached link: OoB_ClRegx64.zip. I see no way to download any attachment. Please advise. Thanks

Re: Rising Sun and US Pacific Download issues
I found attachment...TY. I will try it tonight. Just a note...I deleted everything and started over last night....bad move, as none of the 8 scenario/campaigns work now. I am starting to read a lot more posts from others with the same thing. Matrix had a big sale...I see I am not alone. I sincerely appreciate forum assistance...and will post a report later.

Re: Rising Sun and US Pacific Download issues
I re-installed Oder of Battle WW II and I saw the Pacific Serial Number tab you showed me. When I input the key code I was given for US Pacific- it says it is not a valid key code. Not sure what to do with that one either. The version of Oder of Battle WW II I am downloading is a free one on Matrix site. The game is working, just not showing the two scenarios I purchased (and I have the key codes from Matrix).
Any ideas?

Re: Rising Sun and US Pacific Download issues
In response to this statement you posted for me, my US Pacific and Rising Sun were two separate purchases, with two separate key codes...FYIIt's for people in your situation who still have a game key from when U.S. Pacific and Rising Sun were one purchase; they are still honoring it.

@chanceywild
Sorry about that. Actually I've never experienced such problems with the updates myself. Your installation problem just sounded familiar and I thought I could help. But I'm sure one of the moderators will reply, soon.

No sweat Gabe...your help is very appreciated....TY
Re: Rising Sun and US Pacific Download issues
i can't add anything new as the information supplied is what works and is the latest information on the subject tbh,
1. Please go to the Documents folder for the game (Default: Documents\My Games\Order of Battle – WW2) and delete the folder called “Settings”.
2. Uninstall the both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the game and then go to the folder where the game was installed and ensure no files/folders remain
3. Download the file attached in this message "OoB_ClRegx64.zip".
4. Unzip the downloaded file and run the extracted file "OoB_ClRegx64.reg".
5. Allow the "program" to delete the Windows registry keys regarding the game.
6. Install 5.2.1 of the game from the link below and reinstall the game:
http://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/OrderOfB ... v5.2.1.zip
7. Reinstall all DLCs
8. Run the game and ensure that all DLCs are showing as unlocked and the game is working.,
then update to the latest version and all should be working, this method has worked for everyone who has tried it so far, with only a couple who had issues following the instructions etc first time around,...
If you need to download your DLCs you can do it from the member’s area. Please see the forum post below which explains how to do this:

Re: Rising Sun and US Pacific Download issues
As I have stated, I did use this method and it allowed me to see 7 out of 9 of the games (that I could not use prior), but I still cannot get it to recognize Rising Sun and US Pacific. Could it be the version of the "parent" game Order of Battle WW 2 that is the trouble? I have pulled this "free" download off Matrix site. Is there someplace else I might download this "parent" game from? Also when I do this "fix", there are no 32 bit files to delete-only 64 bit exist.
I am actually tempted to click on where it wants me to purchase these games on the Campaign screen, just to see if buying it through the game prompt would allow it to work- but I am not buying these games twice and somehow I am not seeing how I would get a refund from Slitherine or Matrix.

Re: Rising Sun and US Pacific Download issues
no not something i'd recommend, re buying either,
you'll have to contact support[at]slitherine.co.uk at give them the username and account on which you both bought the game etc and provide the order reference number and the email address under which you have placed the order and they will give you more support on the issue your having.
as if you using the newer pure 64bit installer from the site, with no other 32bit files used and if you did, you uses the Windows registry keys cleaner, then there's not much more i can offer regarding support, as it seems to be something else in the mix

No it wouldn't help buy it twice.chanceywild wrote: I am actually tempted to click on where it wants me to purchase these games on the Campaign screen, just to see if buying it through the game prompt would allow it to work- but I am not buying these games twice and somehow I am not seeing how I would get a refund from Slitherine or Matrix.
Rename "serials.dat" as "_serials.dat" at:
...\Documents\My Games\_Order of Battle - WW2\Settings
Then reinstall US Pacific or Rising Sun and check what happens.
