How Many Allied Contingents??

Post by Blathergut »

Can I take more than one allied contingent and have two allied generals running around with their commands (in a Later Carthaginian)??

You can indeed have more than one allied contingent in an army - you can in fcat have 3 if the list allows

However, you can only have 1 of each foreign ally unless the list otherwise allows more.

So for example Early Germans would be able to use two allied commanders of the same tribe? If so, would the two allied contingents be considered separate, so that you have to specify which allied commander has which troops? This would be important for flank marches and bolstering/rallying.

With two Tencteri allied commanders I think I made a really nice Batavian Revolt army list with both punch and manoeuverability.
