Gaming Lag
Gaming Lag
I know this is kind of a noob question, but I am having massive lag issues playing this game. Any other game I have works fine, its just BSG: Deadlock. I've cleaned up my system, dumbed down the graphics, and been trying to find help online but nothing is working. Anyone else having issues like this, or have any suggestions?
Re: Gaming Lag
welcome to the forum and board, sorry about your issues, but without knowing more of your system it's hard to really offer much advice tbh
How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:
1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.
once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

link is just some basic guides and advice, but a report will or could help me the most

Re: Gaming Lag
I didn't see any errors, but I'm not the greatest at computer tech anymore. Maybe you can see what I don't.

Re: Gaming Lag
just what i see, and more for the developer tbh,
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X2 511 Processor (2 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 5120MB RAM
User DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
Card name: ATI Radeon HD 4200
Dedicated Memory: 252 MB
Shared Memory: 2176 MB
Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (59Hz)
Driver Date/Size: 1/12/2015 old
system errors
System.BadImageFormatException
and now i'll explain, as shown in your report, it reports it has windows 10 64bit, and also 5gb of base memory of which almost 2gb is shared with a low end video card, which falls below the recommended minimum card for the game, as base memory is used on the card, it also lowers the available memory to the base system eg windows for the minimum of 4gb which not only windows 10 64bit needs but the game also, using shared system ram to boost a video card is the worst way of keeping a GPU going, as normally GPU use faster ram and is slowed down using slow base memory ram, as the system is old, the may not apply, but advice is, windows will be happier with more ram, and the minimum you will or would need to make the game run better is a video card with 1gb onboard not shared ram

system errors
System.BadImageFormatException
CLR20r3The exception that is thrown when the file image of a dynamic link library (DLL) or an executable program is invalid.
detect_lowdiskspace_us.exeThis is a application crash error.
as per game requirementseither a hp disk tool checker or a malware program
your pc fails on the memory installed, eg base memory and video card, while the game may still work, it's below the recommended supported entry level, so some form of errors will or could happen, i'd recommend either more system base memory, and or a new vga card, both will prolong the life of the old pc for a while longer.Game Requirements
OS: Window 7, 8, 8.1 or 10
Processor: 2.0GHz or higher
Memory: 4GB
Graphics: 1GB NVIDIA Geforce 460/ATI Radeon HD 5770 or better
DirectX: Version 11
Sound Card: DirectX compatible
Storage: 8739 MB available space
Network: Broadband Internet connection for multiplayer

Re: Gaming Lag
I was afraid this day would come. My computer is not beefy enough. I've been looking at getting a new pc, but I've been putting it off. Until now I've been lucky, but I guess its time to upgrade. Thanks for helping me understand the logistics of all the computer.
Re: Gaming Lag
no problem and sorry for the bad news
