someone please help me out!!

Post by KLDaly »

ever since your patch debacle...i havent been able to play OoB...first i downloaded the new patch and that wouldn't work with my 64 bit, then I uninstalled my game, downloaded and installed the 32 bit version and then I read about your hotfix. so i set out to try that, but i couldn't locate the folder i needed to delete....so, in short, i havent played since then...right now, i'm sitting on an uninstalled game and havent been able to try Panzerkrieg, which i had just bought...so please help me get my game going again???

At this point, you may need to look to your procedures and your equipment. As many user posts have indicated, installing OOB can be done and the game is not badly flawed. What the developers, tech support specialists, and lowly forum moderators cannot do is to get inside your computer and see what the local problem is, unfortunately.

So my advice is to go through these forums and find the latest advice and issue resolutions and see if they can be made to work for you. If not, and I don't condescend when I say this, it often comes down to, say, somebody trying to load the game on a 10-year old computer running Windows XP. We can't help that.

Look around; maybe start with these threads:

Also, this general advice is always applicable: reinstall the game; close programs running in the background; check for sufficient hard drive space; run defragmentation on your computer; turn off anti-virus or have it not scan the game folders; stuff like that.
