PS4 Mission objectives disappear on loads

Post by Elite49 »

While playing and getting to a mission where I had to defend a research center which was clearly visible with a healthbar and upon loading up a save from earlier in the same mission the research center was no longer ingame. Defeating all the enemies didn't end the mission and while trying to go back to a further save from the beginning of the same mission, the research center was still gone. Exiting to the menu and reloading still didn't make it reappear so I had to go even further back so I'm hoping that it appears this time.

Will see and report back if it does but that's a pretty serious issue for those who don't save often.

Hi
Do you know the name of the mission? The name will be displayed on the briefing screen, and also during the ftl sequence (if there is one for that mission)
In the meantime, all I can suggest (other than a save from before the mission starts) is to retreat your ships from that mission, however that will cost some Tylium
Cheers, Paul

I don't recall the name but if the first few "side missions" are not random it was in the upper left section of the map and had to do with protecting a research center with I believe 400 health. The other one in the same section was the same objective but with only 200 health.

I can confirm reloading a save and playing from a story mission before (I believe 4) and the same 2 side missions popped up and this time the research center spawned in.
