You need your desktop resolution set at leist to 1024x768 if running windowed since the game is done in 1024x768. Are you using 800x600?

Thank you for your help.
My machine specs are:
MSI WInd
CPU: 1.6GHz Intel Atom
Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition
Chipset: 945GMS+ ICH7-M
Display: 10-inch/ 1024×600
VGA: UMA
Memory: 1GB DDR2/ 667MHz
That's why I can't set my resolution to 1024x768...
Do you think there could be any solution or should I say "goodbye" to CEAW on this machine?...

There was an application (I forgot the name, Johan should remember it - or a forum search) that allows you to move any window to any part of the screen, you could try to align the CEAW window so that all the important buttons/panels are visible and then since you still won't be able to see one side scroll using the minimap... tedious but should be playable.Chrism wrote:Thank you for your help.

As most of the netbooks are 1024x600, i'm afraid I won't be the only one in this case...
Thank you all for your help.

Display resolution of a CRT-TV should be even worse, me thinks.Borsook wrote:Maybe you could plug in a TV?Chrism wrote:You're right...firepowerjohan wrote:I would say it is game over if the display does nto support 1024x768, sorry but the hard truth.

Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. Everybody’s gonna die. Come watch TV?

You are right, I confused the resolution of the TV with the resolution of the programme pictures that is broadcasted. The latter is low.Borsook wrote:Well that depends... my very, very old TV does supports 1024x768. Didn't Chariots of War have that too?iainmcneil wrote:There is not much we can do about it unfortuately - only two of our existing games will run on a display with less than 1024x768. They are Great Battles of Rome and Legion - both have an 800x600 option.
