Certain (?) small-caliber AT guns can't enter dense forest.
I think they should.
A standard practive was to hide AT guns at the edge of a dense forest waiting for tanks to get close enough.
And it would take an infantry unit to destroy it since tanks can't fire offensively into dense woods. Make sense.

Re: Panzerkrieg units
Oh yes, good idea. I like it.
I found it strange, too, that a 5cmPAK 38 can't enter dense woods and the 8.8cm FlaK in AT mode can
(German Blitzkrieg units)

Yes, that would make sense. I think even the light AT and "pack" howitzers should be able to paratroop, but that is another matter.
Re: Panzerkrieg units
I guess that would only be relevant in special scenarios. I mean, mostly you advance in tight formation in supply. Bold paradrops are usually rather suicidal and expensive.Snake97644 wrote:Yes, that would make sense. Re: Panzerkrieg units
Quick note - the M3 Lee seems to me a bit too powerful compared to the Pz III L and earlier versions.
Thing is: The big gun wasnt fully traversible and was mostly for anti-infantry / high explosive duty. The turret gun was small calibre.
So right now, it hits like a mofo against my tanks - but it was never meant that way. Panzercorps mostly modeled it like an anti-infantry and
soft target tank, which would be correct. Should be changed.

Re: Panzerkrieg units
Quick Panzerkrieg unit question. The Flammpanzer III is 10% more expensive than the Sturmpanzer IV but the Sturmpanzer seems much better across the board. Am I missing some subtlety of the stats? The Sturmpanzer is the same speed... but has greatly higher hard defense, higher soft defense, much higher hard attack particularly in cover, slightly higher soft attack out of cover and slightly lower soft attack in cover, plus 15% shock and 2 Assault! Aaaaand it is used 1 less command point (5 vs 6) aaand has an artillery mode.
Is.. 2 more soft attack in 100% cover really worth 10% MORE than all those other things? The supply point alone is a big deal.
