Re: 5.2.3 upgrade
can you try the update again, as you can always try the site version and not the auto download version for the site, on steam you have to use steam, but the site version you can either use the game auto updater or do a manual update, which is what i'm asking you now to try
Re: 5.2.3 upgrade
Tried upgrading twice both times told me I had newest version.
Re: 5.2.3 upgrade

You should install in the folder where the game is installed.
Have you installed a fresh install of the 64bit version?

Re: 5.2.3 upgrade
I deleted all previous downloads, and downloaded new version still nothing. Do I need to do what I
did for panzerkreig delete everything and reinstall all games. I did do that all games reinstalled except
for Pacific. Could not get that to reload from cd.

Re: 5.2.3 upgrade
Goose, I'm with you to some extent. Was 5.2.3 supposed to be an auto-update? Because it didn't auto-update for me, either. However, where I part ways with you is that I downloaded the update patch linked above (thanks, VP) and that did do the trick.
So Goose, this patch is for the 64-bit version of the game. You needed to have gone through the agony described in this thread:
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 64&t=80817
If you did that successfully, the 5.2.3 manual patch should look for and find the game in this folder now (we're talking PC, not Mac):
C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Order of Battle - WWII
NOT THIS ONE, WHERE THE GAME USED TO RESIDE WHEN IT WAS 32-BIT (unless, of course, you still need or prefer the 32-bit version of OOB):
C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine\Order of Battle - WWII
You may need to start over from scratch, unfortunately, and that means going to that other thread and following instructions. That also means reinstalling all old DLC, including Pacific.
Speaking of which, if you go way back to when Pacific was one game with two campaigns (U.S. Pacific and Rising Sun together), heed the advice in this thread:

Re: 5.2.3 upgrade
Hi Bru, I did follow directions you reposted, When I reloaded all the DLC I didn't get Pacific or Rising back. All others downloaded fine,
I had to use hard disc for Pacific reload. But I also reloaded it last, wondering if that may have been an issue being it was the first game
issued. I believe you are right and will have to do process over, loading Pacific first.
On another note I have enjoyed you scenerios
Thanks, Goose

No, thank you, Goose! I need all the fans I can get!goose54 wrote:On another note I have enjoyed you scenerios

So please keep at this until you get it right. We want you up to 5.2.3 and with Pacific installed. Clean it all out, start over, and go through both of those threads that I linked to above. Follow every line of instruction to the letter.

Re: 5.2.3 upgrade
Yes, it seems that the vast majority of us are now up to 5.2.3 and it's running fine with a few cosmetic glitches here and there.
