Price Difference Matrix vs. Steam

Post by canuckgamer »

I purchased FOG II this weekend from Matrix Games and paid $41 CAD. I had my friend over today and he was impressed enough that he bought it, but from Steam. His price there was $33 CAD. Not complaining but just wondering why the price difference. I also noticed that Immortal Fire is cheaper at Steam.

Thanks.

Not sure about the pricing, though Steam does have numerous sales on occasion. I always buy Slitherene/Matrix games from their website because I want the install. Plus, many times you get 2 games for the price of one. In this case I have my Slitherene install & the Steam version. This may not be enough for many to justify an extra few bucks, but for me...I am good.
