Immortal Fire Quick Battles

Post by julianbarker »

Just tried to fight a quick battle with two Greek armies fighting one another. Can't be done. As the Greek lists (and many others) represents more than one nation, it should be possible to fight the same faction against itself as a quick battle, especially where the list represents more than one side in a civil war or where the list can be different nations such as Gallic, Greek, British, Roman etc.

Use custom battle - there's definitely no problem fighting the same one there. (Works in RoR so presumably the same in IF)

I know custom battle works but I was trying for a quick battle as it is fewer steps and provides random battle type. I can do a quick battle between Greece and Sparta but not all Peleponese battles had Spartans there. The most significant pitched battle of the war had no Spartans. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Delium
