Tim, The list you have down for me is wrong. If only I could have had 32 catafracts the world would have been mine for the taking. The last entry for drilled catafracts should be 4 Allied LH Bow. 3 TC's, Armenian Ally TC. All the LH went on the left wing (right to you). On your left you just had your Light spear LH and poor LH. So I wasn't too worried about shooting. But I underestimated the speed and manouverability of your lancer cavalry. So the right of my line collapsed, but, being catafracts, more slowly then others may have done. Good game and a close run thing.
I guess I got carried away with cutting and pasting "4 Cataphracts" onto every line !!
Part of the problem I faced in almost every game was that my army didnt have enough light horse to chase off the enemy light horse, and so I was forced to try and work around the cataphracts and find a way to beat them - as they were the only troops I could actually catch! And whist I managed eventually to start rolling up the line, my stuff too so long to do it, and suffered enough attrition even doing that so that I would have been left with nothing to chase and catch the rest of your army anyway...
Maybe now LH next time, and less decent cavalry ! Or maybe a draw that doesnt put me against 3 cataphract armies !
