yes i seen but if i choose one for a armies, i can t chose the other for the other, i must stay on Rise or Immortal ?

the developer would have to say if it can be done, as it's not a question that's come up that i'm aware of i'm sorry to say

yes on custom you can make it as daft as you like regarding time periods, i do, had the scotti fighting the Persians the other night

see, time and place or period doesn't have to match if you don't want it to, that's you choice and why it's a custom match

Not in quick battles - they only use historical matchups.

But you can in Custom Battles and Sandbox Campaigns. If you want to fight what-if matchups, just turn off the date and/or geographical filters.
