Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
Panzerkrieg installed. But is not showing up in the campaigns. Also, some of my DLC's are now showing they are not installed. This is not possible as I own them all! So now what?
Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
Same problem here. Panzerkrieg is greyed out as if it isn´t bought/installed.
Old DLC´s show up fine though.

Same here, also OOB ver still shows as 5.2.0 ..... US Pacific still missing.Spechtmeise wrote:Still doesn't do it for me. Applied the 5.2.1 hotfix, installed Panzerkrieg, finished install normally, doesn't show up on the campaign screen. I already turned the virus scanner off.
Re: Panzerkrieg update problem

Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
Ok, it works for me.
The problem was that the DLC Panzerkrieg installed in ...\Order of Battle - Pacific instead of ...\Order of Battle - WWII
So renamed the folder, installed the DLC and did set the folder in the new name.
All works well(for now
)
Start screen shows however 5.2.0 allthough I installed the 5.2.1

Yes I am having the same problems that you areSpechtmeise wrote:Still doesn't do it for me. Applied the 5.2.1 hotfix, installed Panzerkrieg, finished install normally, doesn't show up on the campaign screen. I already turned the virus scanner off.
Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
the developers are aware of the issues and are atm trying to find and sort out a solution, sorry for the issues
Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
Same problem...also, after applying 5.2.1 hotfix, the core game still shows as 5.2.0 - is that correct?Spechtmeise wrote:Still doesn't do it for me. Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
Doesn't work for me, applied hotfix, still came up as 520 not 521. Still cant install game.
Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
yes atm it's broken and doesn't work, this is why it's back to the developers to fix, as the hot fix doesn't sort out the issue atm, only option atm is steam, as site version can't be updated for everyone, but the steam version is unaffected, but the site version will be fixed asap

In that time, I did not touch my steam version of OoB, so it stayed on the Burma Road build number.
I now took the product key from Slitherine, went to the store, activated Panzerkrieg, got my Steam key, entered into Steam, download Panzerkrieg, done.
I guess you just have to update it in the right order of patches. Maybe you can revert back to an older version? (I have no idea, steam version here...)
I purchased the DLC, took the product key from Slitherine, went to the store, activated Panzerkrieg, got my Steam key, entered into Steam, download Panzerkrieg, done.
Started the DLC in steam, saved it, closed steam, started the game on PC, loaded the saved DLC game and.... I play it further on PC.
Once the update for PC is released I gonna install it anyway
That worked for me too. Can´t start a campaign in PC version, but I can in Steam, and then save in steam and load in PC version and then I can play.

Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
The patch does not fix the problem. What next?
Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
We are still looking this. Unfortunately, this is being harder to fix than we have anticipated in this morning.
If you really want to play this weekend I suggest you to uninstall the 64bit version of the game and install the 32bit in case you have uninstalled it.
You can download the 32 bit version from the link below:
http://ftp.us.matrixgames.com/pub/Order ... e-v248.zip
Then update to 5.2.0. You can download the update from the member's area. (*)
Please note that this issue is only happening with the 64 bit version of the stand alone game. The Steam version is working correctly.
We apologize for all the inconvenience.
(*)You can download games and updates from the Member's Area provided they are registered to the account. Please see the forum post below which explains how to do this:

Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
For one thing, which is puzzling how it could happen as if unexpectedly, but all the old DLC are going to look for the installation under the 32-bit program files, as in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine
However, the 64-bit standalone, which is labeled as an update, confusing things more, installs here:
C:\Program Files\Slitherine
Which is why no DLC, not Panzerkrieg alone, can be installed. I found the 32-bit version patch that you are talking about but getting to that member's area is not always easy (one must be logged in already) plus walking people through what we are talking about is going to be a monkey rodeo.

Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
If you see in the member's area there's a new installer named "OrderOfBattle-WorldWarII-Setup64Release-v5.2.1.zip". This is a new installer not an update. It's labelled as "Order of Battle: World War II PC Installer (64bit)".bru888 wrote:For one thing, which is puzzling how it could happen as if unexpectedly, but all the old DLC are going to look for the installation under the 32-bit program files, as in:

This is the solution we are trying to implement. A new 64 bit installer. It's fully functional but some DLC won't be recognized even when we reinstall them (namely the original ones).
So although this is available for download I suggest you to not install it and wait until we fully fix the issue.
Agree. But for the moment is the only solution I can offer.bru888 wrote: I found the 32-bit version patch that you are talking about but getting to that member's area is not always easy (one must be logged in already) plus walking people through what we are talking about is going to be a monkey rodeo.
I'm sorry.

For the time being, try this: http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 3&p=690704

Re: Panzerkrieg update problem
I know you have given us some workarounds, but you are still striving for a solution for the 64bit standalone are you not. Personally, I don't want to migrate to steam nor do I want to do a completely new 32bit installation with all the attendant reinstallations of the DLC's, mods, scenarios, etc...
