Not sure what you mean.

The end battle review merely allows you to pan around the battlefield and look at the unit states. You can do that at the end of each turn by not clicking End Turn until you have done it!

what i meant was ability to look at the battlefield after all the commands have been issued and turn sent, because while the opponent is thinking what to do i can get to look around the battlefield and think myself

its an ability to Load the Already sent turn in short (and play replay again)

lots of pbem games have it, the ability to rewatch turns

Oh I see, you meant in MP games.

I think it would be hard to achieve, because the game puts all the units back to their positions at the start of your turn before saving to the server. Then when the other player opens the battle and it does the replay it runs though all your actions and consequences again to show the replay and get back to the end turn positions.

It might be possible to make the game do a replay of your turn (after sending) and then let you review the battlefield. I will enquire with the engine programmer.

I think this is a good idea. It would allow the player to more closely examine the battlefield and the on-going situation, between turns.
In effect, allowing a certain amount of pre-planning subject, of course, to the actual unfolding of events in the next turn playback.
